Summary
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, back in 2019 we worked with the Prognos team to help build a product that helps physicians and labs evaluate medical lab reports. This product has so much value during this current climate.
Comparing patients with different comorbidities, they symptoms and reviewing historical data both visually and in tabular form. We also worked with the medical consultant at Prognos to create actionable data points that can be exported for review by medical physicans.

Analyze large data sets at a glance with graphics
Our goal was show don't tell the numbers, we were tasked at creating a design system and set of components that could allow medical professionals to quickly gain insights from the filtered data.
Aggregate data for better visualization
Our goal was to showcase the proper graphs or charts in a given view for the filtered data and selections made by the users.
Build out a scalable system that worked with different data sets
We needed to build out a system that worked across different user types, data sets and frameworks for each unique customer type and their permissions.
Data Visualization Modules
We worked with the head of product and the medical lead in order to figure out the proper data to visualize so that the medical professionals can review and analyze the proper metrics. After figuring out the types of data sources we would be using, we came up with the proper charts & graphs to display that data properly.

Medical Data Visualized, we worked with the team at Prognos to help them come up with helpful & effective ways for them to visualize their large amounts of data back to Medical Labs & Physicians.
Detailed & Actionable Data
Providing the proper data was only the beginning. We wanted to provide proper visualation of data for easy consumption and review. We also worked on making those charts and graphs actionable by linking the data to lists that can be filtered & exported for physicians.
Project Outcome
We ended up working on 2 projects for the prognos team, both were data and modeling heavy with complicated UX flows, we were stretched in our design thinking to solve for enterprise level data analysis and building cohorts for review by medial professionals.
