Building an Ai Powered Trivia Experience in FlutterFlow.
Project Overview
We were tasked with a pretty amazing task. Mark came to us because he wanted to create a trivia app, but one that you could quickly and easily play with your friends. He had API’s he wanted to integrate and provided a good base of backend knowledge and experience being in tech and employed by one of the big five companies. He wanted an innovative and sticky game experience, he knew that the user experience and design had to be excellent in order for his game to succeed, he trusted our team to bring his vision to life.

Problem Statement
We had a fun time thinking through the best flow & user experience for the flow of this application, we had to consider multiple edge cases, including the following:
- How do users find games they want to play?
- How do users choose a game & keep track of their progress?
- How do users engage with others to help improve “stickiness” of the application?
- How do we gamify the process for the user to engage more willingly with the app.
Creating an Experience
Building an AI-Generated trivia app for you and your friends! Challenge, play, invite, and enjoy an amazing game experience by yourself or with friends! Can you rise the ranks of the global Quizrd community?
Design Solution
We first dove into the thinking through the basic layouts of primary pages, a homepage that included the most important elements to a user. Current games for the user where they are competing with friends, and new topics for users to find and either test their knowledge or challenge a friend.
We then wanted to add details on the game details page, high scores, how many times the game has been played and the avg. points. We also integrated a Leaderboard into the app where you can see your progress in relation to the rest of the world!
Project Launch: Failed.
Overall this process has been a fun & enjoyable design and development cycle, we are currently in the beta testing of the app and will look to refine and iterate the designs, flow, capabilities of the application in relation to the feedback we receive!
The team at Quizrd never found a good revenue model and ended up pivoting before going live with the app. But we look forward to seeing it's return when it happens.
