Stitched Health approached us to design a next-generation clinical education platform focused on improving real-world decision-making.
The product had a clear direction from the outset but required refinement across UX and UI to better support how clinicians engage with complex content.
We led product design end-to-end—defining the UX architecture, interaction patterns, and visual system—elevating the experience into a cohesive, scalable platform centered on clinical reasoning.
Unclear Value Proposition & Messaging
The experience needed to make complex clinical decision-making, peer comparison, and evidence-based insight easier to access and interpret.
The challenge was not the content itself, but how it was delivered. Dense clinical information, layered decision inputs, and nuanced feedback required an interface that felt clear, structured, and approachable.
The goal was to create an experience that allowed clinicians to engage deeply—without cognitive overload—by introducing more clarity, space, and intuitive interaction patterns.
A core deliverable was designing the clinical scenario experience—where clinicians engage with real-world cases, make decisions, and receive contextual feedback.
The interface needed to support multiple layers of complexity:
- Patient context and evolving case data
- Open-ended and structured decision inputs
- Peer comparison without cognitive overload
- Evidence alignment without explicit “right vs wrong” feedback
The design focused on creating space for dense content—using hierarchy, layout, and pacing to support deeper engagement without overwhelming users.

Kaleo refined the platform into a more cohesive and intuitive clinical reasoning experience, building on an already strong foundation.
The product was structured into a clear journey:
- Expert-led video as the entry point
- Interactive case-based scenarios
- Reflection through peer comparison and evidence alignment
- Seamless progression into subsequent cases
Clarity and Usability Improvements
Designed for time-constrained clinicians, the experience prioritizes speed, clarity, and relevance.
Key improvements included:
- Introducing clearer decision moments to guide engagement
- Simplifying how peer insights are surfaced to reduce cognitive load
- Emphasizing alignment with evidence rather than binary correctness
- Creating smoother transitions between steps to maintain momentum
The result is a more intuitive, low-friction experience that supports complex clinical decision-making in a practical, usable way.
