Redesign & UX Overhaul
We worked with the Aloft team on rethinking and redesigning a good portion of their application for appraisers, understanding what team members were involved, how each person in the team worked with one another, and we also worked with the chief appraiser on uncovering intricacies of the appraisal process
Their current platform is pre-mvp design and did not solve all the use cases they wanted to in the post-mvp product. The first system was very confusing for users to understand which step of the process the appraisal was in, another problem was they also had difficulty keeping communications for each appraisal in a single space.
And lastly they had a plethora of new features they wanted implemented on the primary view for the appraisal.
We worked on clarifying what was possible in this new product and provided solutions to improve the appraisal process, we also worked on implementing best practices for the new information that they wanted to present on each appraisal case.
We implemented tabs for the additional information so that the amount of data wasn’t overwhelming for users, and we put similar information together. Keeping property details at the top and front and center.
Users could easily access all the related information to move the appraisal through the process of getting it complete.
We were able to design and iterate on multiple facets of the complete product for the Aloft team over a period of 2 months. We also were able to hand off the completed designs and some micro interactions for some of the flows that needed a little more than static designs to communicate the full functionality.
