Project Overview
Create a community based app in the mental health space, with in-app purchases for premium content addressing breath work, tapping and seminars on mental health best practices.
Problem Statement
The team at Brisa Therapeutics approached us through a recommendation from a past client. We met with the team and evaluated their objectives of creating a community based app for improving mental health. Allow users to access a library of videos, resources and seminars that help improve the mental health of users. And provide premium content for the monetization of the content for the longevity of the application.
The clients wanted to expand their little practice in a small town to have a global reach through digital transformation and distribution of their content, expertise and passion.
Design Solutions
We started with a robust user flow chart to help capture the features of the app that were required from the product team and to help the client understand the scope of the application we were to create. We then did some usability testing with the team in low fidelity wireframes.
After a few rounds of iterations, we dove into the visual design, utilizing the ease of FlutterFlow’s theming we were able to create a light & dark mode theme for the application and implement the proper functionality in a few clicks in FlutterFlow. We implemented a journalling portion of the application where users' can record voice notes, video or write down their thoughts. They can take daily checkins to help them keep track of their mental health history.
Conclusion
We implemented the entire application within FlutterFlow and launched on both Google Play & the App Store. We also integrated RevenueCat for in-app purchases and so the team can monetize on their knowledge.
